Miss "N", as her students call her, is the delightful, smiling face that you will see in the PreK classroom!  Her gentle and quiet spirit has made her a favorite with both her students and their parents.  Elisabeth and her family moved here to the Walla Walla Valley from Seattle 13 years ago, where she was homeschooled and then attended WWCC for her associates degree in Early Childhood Education.  She currently works part time here at Liberty while she attends WGU online for her bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies (K-8 education).
If asked, she would tell you that her favorite thing about Liberty is the sense of family and friendship that is centered around a love for the Lord!  When not teaching and going to school, Elisabeth enjoys running, planning events, and traveling.

Mrs. Lane joined the Liberty team at the beginning of the 2017/18 school year, and her bright spirit and incredibly humorous personality won everyone over right away!  This gal is originally from California and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Simpson University.  She is married to her fantastic husband, Kyle, and they have one child (he has 4 legs and is covered in fur!).  When we asked her about teaching Kindergarten, her response was, "I love teaching this age group!  They are always eager to learn, and they enjoy mastering new skills.  I truly enjoy experiencing their 'ah-ha' moments throughout the year!"  She told us that the staff and families at Liberty are the most inviting people she's ever encountered, which makes it feel more like a family than a school.  In her spare time, she LOVES to travel both domestic and internationally.

You can't have a better name for being a 1st and 2nd grade teacher than Mrs. Sweet!  And SWEET she is!  Lori graduated from Montana State and has taught in both Arizona and Washington in both public and private schools.  This young lady has been teaching for about 20 years, most of those being here at Liberty Christian.  She teaches here because, in her own words, "I can teach about the Lord, read about, sing about and pray to Him with these little people whose hearts are forming their own worldview."

Mrs. Sweet has three "Sweet" girls of her own!  They all attended Liberty for 10 years, and the youngest graduates from her 8th grade year at Liberty this Spring.  Lori has been married to her high school sweetheart for 27 years, who is a mechanical engineer for Nelson Irrigation.

Mrs. Hoe joined the Liberty team 8 years ago and taught the fifth and sixth grades before moving on to teach the third and fourth grades, where she is now. Mrs. Hoe is definitely a “favorite” in the building with her sweet and gentle spirit and her beautiful love for the Lord. Her desire to see every child grow closer to our Savior and to experience the love of Christ is evident in everything that she does. Mrs. Hoe grew up in North Dakota and Minnesota and joined the NDARNG when she was 18. She remained in the guard for 12 years. She then graduated from the University of Mary in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education. She married the love of her life (aka Mr. Hoe) in 1995, had 4 children and was a full-time mom. In 2006, they moved their family to Romania and pastored a Calvary Chapel in the city of Brasov. Two years later, they moved here to Walla Walla and joined the Liberty Christian team. Besides hanging out with her family, Mrs. Hoe loves coffee, tea, Creme Brule, decorating, planting things, reading, cooking and being loved by Jesus! We don’t know what we would do without Mrs. Hoe on our team!

Mrs. Michelle Rogers has been a part of the Liberty Christian team since 2010 in many roles as a classroom volunteer, substitute teacher, part-time teacher, and this year as the 5th/6th grade teacher. We are thrilled that she joined our school in a full-time role! Michelle has a BA degree from Arkansas State University and also studied at the University of Vermont. She is married to Dr. Trent Rogers who a local pediatrician. They have two children, Emma who is a senior at College Place High, and Greyson who is a Freshman at Wa-Hi. When not teaching, Michelle enjoys running, reading, and traveling. She is a strong believer in hard work, respectfulness, and kindness, all of which she models for her students!

Mrs. Seltmann joined the Liberty teaching team last year, and has been an invaluable member ever since!  She started out her career (before she married and had her children) as a 5th grade teacher at a Christian school in the Portland area.  After that, she moved to Walla Walla and married her husband, Max, and was a substitute teacher for the Walla Walla School District.  She then moved on to teach the multi-age behavior program housed at Prospect Point.  While pregnant with her first of four children, Sara taught Kindergarten.  She then homeschooled her four children until they came to Liberty and she joined the Liberty team!  Her husband, Max, owns NW Chimney here in Walla Walla, and all of their beautiful children attend Liberty Christian!

Mrs. Herrera is the bright and cheery face that will you first see when walking into Liberty!  She manages everything from what goes home in your children's folders to making sure every event happens in the right place and the right time!  She is phenomenal at keeping everyone organized and everything running smoothly.  Sarah is an alum of Liberty Christian and grew up here in the Walla Walla Valley.  She and her husband, Rick, have 4 kiddos who all attend Liberty.  When she's not managing the school, she loves to read, camp, craft, and hang out on Pinterest!

We are excited to introduce our new PreK-8th Kodály music instructor, Mrs. Cami Panther!  Cami grew up in Walla Walla and attended LCS from Kindergarten through Eight grade.  She received her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Music Education from St. Olaf College and completed two levels of training in the Kodály Method from the University of St. Thomas.  Cami is married to David and has three sons, the oldest of whom, Jack, is attending Liberty this year. Welcome to the team, Cami!
